I am a Licensed Social Worker, Doula (Birthworker) and Holistic Healer based in Maryland. In my role as a social worker, I primarily work with black youth and people of color with social, emotional, behavioral and learning difficulties. For the past three years, I provided therapy in a special education setting to school-based and community students, implementing strategies to increase their academic achievement, break down barriers to success and reach new levels of personal development. Through talk therapy, mindfulness techniques, thought-reframing strategies, arts expression and more, my mission is to aid others in gaining deeper understandings of their experiences and inspiration to rewrite their life narratives.

As a doula I work with women to create the birth experiences they want, support them throughout their pregnancy and aftercare, and help them to understand their options. And as a natural hair stylist, I support people in their self care practices and choices.
