Day 180: I have sisters

I have 1 sister. One whom i grew up with. One who became my best friend after i left home. One who has been such a beautiful and necessary force in my life, the life of my daughter and granddaughter.

I have 2 sisters. Two more than i grew up with. Two that i discovered last fall. Two that i have been getting to know since October, but whom i’ve known all their lives.

I have 3 sisters. Three with whom i founded The Wind & The Warrior. Three with whom i have co-created and implemented a way of being in organizational and personal relationship that is truly wholistic and nourishing.

I have many sisters. Many with whom i’ve learned, been in principled and not-so-principled struggle and grown. Many sisters who i supported and have been supported by. Many with whom i’ve engaged in ceremony, caught the spirit and facilitated meaningful change.

I am grateful for my sisters. All of them.
