Day 44: Penn Station

Penn Station, the place where lifetimes pass underground

From the darkness of night to artificial lights

hidden pathways to certain destinations

policed entrances for ticketed passengers

shelter for souls in need of cover for tonight

wallet missing amidst hungry cracks long forgotten

for some a way station

for others the end

and still yet for others a place where life passes through each of its stages
