Day 53: Settling

Lily lied to herself and tried to be someone she is not. Initially she lived in ways that were consistent with the vision she had for herself: a free, self-determined spirit warrior who lived by her own rules. But the desire for companionship grew into deep longing for love. And so she settled. And conformed.
