Day 124: Death to bugs?

FloridaPredatoryStinkBug

Why is it that when i see a bug the first thing i want to do is kill it?

If not harming anything or anyone, does it have a right to live?

Is its death justified just because it happened to wander into the same space as me?

Or perhaps in the hierarchy, some are okay to kill and not others?

Spiders and centipedes can live and they can stay, because they eat other bugs.

Biting bugs must die because, well, they bite.

But others? What is my criteria for killing?

Ugly? Irritating? Abundant? Present?

I certainly don’t want to live with bugs.

But does that mean they have to die?
